Itinerary
Start your day trip from your hotel/Riad in Marrakech at 8 a.m. and drive for 2h30 to relax by the sea at the laid-back Atlantic resort of Essaouira. En route, you will go past several roadside villages, enchanting landscapes and Argan fields where you are expected to see goats climbing Argan trees. Once you arrive to Essaouira, go exploring the Medina’s ramparts, harbor, narrow passages, wood workshops, jewellery stores and art galleries. However, the Medina of Essaouira (used to be called “Mogador”) is listed as a UNESCO world heritage site and is an example of a late 18th-century fortified town.
For lunch, the city offers a good range of cafes and restaurants, thus allowing you to choose from a long menu including fresh seafood, Tagines, drinks and dessert. Do not miss a walk along the immense beach.
Drive back in mid-afternoon to your accommodation in Marrakech.

GANDIA , The driver was excellent. The trip is a bit long because there are many radar speed controls and the driver has to drive without haste. The guide in the city was excellent. At the stops on the road the price of the drinks is excessive.
