1st day: Fes – Azrou – Midelt – Merzouga.

At 8 a.m pick-up from your accommodation and drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains and the Cedar forest of Azrou. Cedar has been used from the Phoenician times and Roman time for woodcraft, essences and Buildings, even ancient Marine boats. Afterwhile, continuing the road through the small town of Ifran, the Switzerland of Morocco, and many small typical Zayan Berber villages in the Middle Atlas.

After lunch in Midelt, continue the road to the Sahara desert of Merzouga, crossing the valley of Ziz. Once you get to Erfoud you will drive on an off-road to Merzouga where you will have camel riding at sunset and overnight in Berber tents in the heart of the dunes.

2nd day: Merzouga – Erfoud – Todra Gorges.

Wake up early morning and start your day by enjoying the sunrise over the dunes before going back to the hotel for refreshing and having breakfast.

Leave the impressive dunes of Erg Chebbi and drive to the town of Rissani and Tafilalet, the origin of Allaouit dynasty. Then drive to the town of Erfoud where you can visit fossils manufacturers.

The drive will continue to Todra Gorges through numerous Berber villages and Tinjdad palm trees. In the afternoon, arrive in Todra and enjoy the stunning landscapes of the area before check-in in your accommodation.

3rd day: Todra Gorges – Imilchil – Fes.

After breakfast in your accommodation, go trekking for about an hour in Todra Gorges, then drive to the village of Imilchil, a small Berber village in central Morocco. The village is well known for the Marriage Festival, which takes place annually in September.

After lunch, drive to Fes through the high Atlas Mountains.
